Ok, I updated my bios using msi bios update utlity on an older msi k9n sli board Not the platinum one the standard board from 11 to 12 It was running a 08 bios and it updated to the 10 bios successfully It was a success But then I reset the jumper on the motherboard for a bios reset and that's when the problem began

Flag Post I am not certain that your BIOS will have those settings, but you can check see if their is a Vertualization setting I have it in my UEFI BIOS for HP Omen, but don't there are settings for VTD and CFGLock Please click the "Thumbs up button" if I have helped you and click "Accept as Solution" if your problem is solved Msi support for your laptop model # and download the bios file In bios, look for UEFI option under the advanced tab Select your usb drive from there and let it run untouched for like 7min Home Notebooks Notebook Technical Discussions
